I still recall the nice butcher, Johnny Altadonna, at our small IGA and the nice checkout lady, Mrs Loepker. They always called me by name and they made me feel important and happy. These were special times as I reflect back on it 60 years later. The times they are a changing!
The staff is what makes Midtowne great. Nicely said. There is an app and loyalty program. It’s not hard to manage. The real loyalty is as you wrote, service to the community.

the only bad thing about Midtowne is that it’s in St. Charles.
